CECILIA A. DE GUZMAN -“Cecile”
General Manager/Chief Operating Officer
Date of birth: January 3, 1954
Place of birth: Lucena City
Employed since: 1991

 

Bank experience: Ms. de Guzman is the pioneer employee-manager of the Bank. She was named its General Manager/COO in 2000 for her laudable leadership attribute as innovative manager. Under her wings, the Bank has grown with additional four (4) branches with 76 employees. She employed this management style consistently at the helm of the Bank; management staff aiming at nothing but the best of the Bank. It paid off handsomely overtime because CBQP is the recipient of strings of national awards and recognitions, catapulting it with premier position as leading pillar of the Cooperative Banking World of the Country today.

Other work experience: Prior to joining Coopbank, she has gained 17 years of experience in numerous clerical and supervisory tasks from 5 companies engaged in banking, financing, real estate and marketing, from rank-and-file positions such as bookkeeping, marketing, auditing, accounting, tellering, cashiering, insurance underwriting , to supervisory positions as accountant, operations and technical officer which provided her the qualities and skills to become the manager of a bank. Apart from being an active member of St. Jude MPC, Cotta, Lucena City, she also served as chairperson of the Audit & Supervisory Committee, member of the Board of Directors and lastly as Treasurer, a position she gaved up when she joined Coopbank in 1991.

GAUDIOSO A. LAVADIA -“Ogie”
Manager for 8 yrs. Head Office - Assistant General Manager
Date of birth: October 28, 1961
Place of birth: Tayabas, Quezon
Employed since: 1994.

 

Bank experience: After 3 years of exposure at the bank in accounting, as GL bookkeeper and Accountant from 1994 to 1997, he rose to the top management as Manager of the 2nd branch in Lucban, Quezon, from its opening in 1998 until 2003. Now he is assigned at the head Office. Under his strong leadership and capabilities, Lucban Branch maintained its top position as highest income generating branch.

Other work experience: 13 years of loyal and dedicated service to a group of companies based in Lucena City since 1981 until he resigned to join the Bank. He was an Inventory clerk assigned in the appliance section then as costing clerk in a furniture manufacturing division of the same company, until he was transferred to a sister company where he was given various job assignments from accounting clerk to accountant. When he passed as a licensed real estate broker , he was promoted to Marketing Manager responsible in packaging housing loans. Equipped with knowledge on the job, he put up a marketing network of his own but gave it up to join the bank

 

 

 

JOSELITO R. ANARETA -“Lito”
Manager - Lucban Branch
Date of birth: June 16, 1968
Place of birth: Lucena City
Employed since: 1993.

 

Bank experience: Joined the ranks in 1993 until 1997 as field teller/collector, bookkeeper of current account and loans. He rose to supervisory position as Collection Officer and Accountant from 1997 to1999 with managerial exposure in Catanauan and Gumaca Branch in 1998: Equipped with knowledge in almost all phases of the banking operation, training and seminars, he was designated as OIC of Gumaca Branch in 1999 and become full pledge manager in 2000,In 2003, he was transferred to manage Lucena City Branch - a micro-finance oriented branch.

Other work experience: San Luis Development Cooperative as Stock Control Clerk for grocery and hardware division for 2 years (1992-1993) , trainee under the Grameen Bank replication program thru Lucban Fed of Farmers and a brief stint as sales representative of a home-care products.

ANNABELLE F. RUEDAS -“Abelle”

Manager for 6 yrs. Lucban Branch
Employed since : 1993.

 

Bank experience: Joined the bank in 1993 as bookkeeper of Loans and Savings for a year. Her positive work attitude, quick grasp of knowledge displayed in each new work assignment and ability to apply procedures and standards in almost all phases of the job, are some of the qualifications that brought her to assume higher responsibilities of supervisory scope such as Collection Officer, Loans Officer which she held until 1999. Appointed for managerial position as Head Office Operations Manager in 2001 and then moved to Lucban Branch in 2003 as part of the re-shuffle of managers.

GENNY L. GABATAN -“Genny”

Place of birth: Tayabas, Quezon
Employed since : 1996.

 

Bank experience: Started working in the bank in 1996 as CI/Appraiser until 1998 , taking one assignment after another lasting less than 6 months without complaints. He handled various positions from Special Loans CI/Appraiser, General Clerk, Acting Accountant , Legal and Ropoa between 1998-2000. His flexibility and eagerness to learn every phase of the banking operation regardless of length of exposure broadened his knowledge which made him qualified to handle supervisory position as Legal, Collection and ROPOA Officer from 2000 to 2003, and finally designated OIC-manager in Catanauan, Quezon in 2003 until today.

MARIBETH R. CUETO -“Beth”
Manager (1 yr) – Gumaca Branch
Date of birth: July 11, 1970
Place of birth: Lucena City
Employed since : 1993.

 

Bank experience: 13 years of dedicated service doing accounting (GL bookkeeper), administrative (Admin Officer) and lending ( Loan Officer and Special Loan Programs), cash ( Asst. Cashier) operations. As Savings deposit bookkeeper in 1993 where the operation was not yet computerized, she experienced the manual computation of interest which took them late at night to finish. Her loyalty and patience was rewarded in 2003 when she was appointed Manager of Gumaca Branch, which position she holds until today. She also acted as Secretary of the Board of Directors from 1996 to 2000.

Other work experience: St. Jude Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Cotta, Lucena City as Loans Bookkeeper for Special; Projects for 2 years.

 

EVELYN E. NADAL-“Belen”
Manager- Agdangan Branch
Date of birth: October 27, 1961
Place of birth: Quezon, Quezon
Employed since: 1995

 

Bank experience: Her first 10 years of service to the bank produced dependable, reliable, and timely accounting reports. She was assigned as bookkeeper of loans, accounting assistant and general ledger at the Head Office and
Lucban Branch. She climbed the supervisory ladder in 2000 as Admin Officer for 3 years and Loans Officer for 2 years prior to her
present position as Central Accountant/MIS Officer since 2005.

Other work experience: Prior to employment at the bank, she handled bookkeeping jobs and later as Manager of Star Trade Center,a general merchandising store.

 

MELVINA M. VILLASANTE-“Melvin”
Loan Manager
Date of birth: May 19, 1952
Place of birth: Lucena City
Employed since: 2001.

 

Bank experience: Hired as OIC/Manager for Catanauan Branch in 2001 based on her supervisory skills and vast experience  in all phases of banking operation, particularly in lending as her specialized skill. With the on-going re-organization at the HO, (her request for transfer pre-empted), the upper management recalled her back to the Head Office to handle Special Loans  Section as Technical Officer  where her expertise on technical matters and advanced know-how in credit process  would be most fitted and be applied in a wider scope in the centralized loan processing and credit management. Her greatest asset is her ability to accomplish more than anyone else, aided by her gift for organization.

Other work experience: Retired from Land Bank of the Philippines after 20 years, the last assignment as Technical Assistant to the Regional Head-IV-B, a couple of years with SGV, a reputable accounting/auditing firm, and 5 years cashiering in a private bank
